Late Night Experiment HISTORY
Inaugural Chronicle Events
November of 2010, I returned home from a meeting at the Hollywood Production Center on 1149 North Gower Street, Los Angeles, CA. I was there for a meeting in regards to volunteering for The Show Biz Expo. While at the production center, I recall taking sheer notice to one of the many television and movie posters hung in their walkways. While there, made a mental recording of a poster entitled The Jamie Kennedy Experiment. As the days went by, I later conceived Motown Maurice's Late Night Experiment. The initial ideas that complemented the title were premature but a portion of it were gearing towards making intentionally discovers of ideas that works and don't work. There were more incomete ideas but regardless of any ideas I had, it didn't matter because I didn't have the resources to pull off anything. I was barely in L.A. for two months when I got the idea. There was no reason to attempt any type of project so soon. As a result, I did the most logical thing I could do. I kept the idea close to my heart.
One year and five months later and a series of two back to back events I rediscovered those recordings in my mind. The following links chronicles some of the birthing process of The Late Night Experiment with Motown Maurice.

-----------
As most great endeavors, this project took many twist and turns. I wanted to relaunch my talk show similar to what I did with The Motown Maurice Show in Tampa, FL. After being burnt out for a few days during the planning stages I realized a full late night television production wasn't feasible. I then decided to focus solely on a pitch pilot. Ironically, while I was burnt out, I causally spent time browsing my Facebook News Feed and someone I can't recall posted the original 1974 pitch pilot for The Muppet Show. It was presented to CBS and the rest is history. Watching that video changed the scope of my vision and it therefore resurrected into a pitch pilot. The New York Television Festival (NYTVF) was a major part of what fueled me and the new vision allowed me to focus on their flagship pilot competition. The production of the pilot took place on June 9, 2012 (History in the Making) and it was successfully sent on June 26, 2012 ( ).
Convinced that I possibly created the greatest late night talk show pilot of all time, I later was declined from The New York Television Festival on August 15, 2012 ( )
Throughout the whole project, I kept everything extremely confidential until I found out the results of the festival. With or without the festival I had premeditated intentions of launching a Youtube and Facebook presence once I knew the results of NYTVF. Reluctant yet determined to fulfill my word, I simultaneously launched The Late Night Experiment Youtube Channel and Facebook Page on Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Upon the launch, I set a personal goal to put out a new video every Tuesday, once a week until Christmas day. Since the summer, I figured I could creatively exist from publishing bunch of promotional videos and parodies.
Then somewhere around the time of Youtube and Facebook launch, The Late Night Experiment made a transformation once again. Now The Late Night Experiment is a episodic web series.
