* Final option the library. I rode my back to the library but their computers froze with the files after a while. Determined to get Late-Night Buttermilk Biscuits up today, I resorted to Uber. They took me home, I got my laptop and they took me back to the library. I need up unplugging one of their main computers and plugged in my computer with their Ethernet. It worked like magic. I don't know why I never tried that before.

Final Thoughts

On Friday/Valentines when Uber dropped me off in front of my house to pick up my laptop, my landlord noticed me and thought it was my girlfriend for 2 reasons. One I'm getting dropped off in a nice car on valentine's day and two, I had a rose in my hand. The Uber drivers were assigned to give their passengers a rose for the occasion. That was nice and weird receiving the rose from a young Asian man but it was considerate. Sort of...I guess. Moreover, I provided my landlord some clarity and as usual told her, "I don't have one of those things called a Girlfriend. LA women don't like me." To my surprise, she responded by saying "you're lucky they don't like you." I actually appreciated that perspective. I still wouldn't mind or turn down the company of a beautiful and sexy young lady in my life. However, the odds are she would be wasting my time. I don't have time to waste. Without a distracting female in my life I can stay focus, further my quest and save money. I don't want this type of luck to last forever but I'll take it for right now. I barely give women my effort anymore. Last year I tried, not this year. I honestly don't envision the company of a women in my life anytime soon.

As the quest continues...

Week 177: Full Focus Strategic Strategies

Weekly Written Review

For the first time, I've developed a marketing strategy that has nothing to do with Late-Night.

Sunday, February 2, 2014

* I was suppose to shoot the cut in scenes for Late-Night Buttermilk Biscuits this morning but my choice wasn't communicating on my standards. This happened for the better. It truly did. Less than a week my idea improved and my next choice is an even better talent.

* Special Fox Digital/Youtube/5 Second films Superbowl invite to the SOHO House. This is how a man is suppose to live. Open bar. Non stop free food.

Thursday, February 6, 2014

* DOS Rehearsal

* LA Casting Profile Upgrades. I'm finally doing this video thing right.

* In brain storming motion to complete the cut ins for Late-Night Butter Milk Biscuits my production source declined my request because of my current non-paid tab. I truly don't have any money to give him right now. It was a disappointing moment. It was just about the first time money became a preventative force against one of my production since I arrived in LA. At least seems that way. Nonetheless, Kevin B. called me back in less than 24 hours and made a quick agreement. I'm truly thankful and blessed. The next day the part was cast.

Friday, February 7, 2014

* DOS Improv show. My first time performing with my new improv team. I also found my talent for Late-Night Buttermilk Biscuits.

Saturday, February 8, 2014

* Apparently, I'm a now a mentor for my new friend Laneshia. We've already made productive career enhancing plans together. Cool burgers.

* Basketball. Scrambling for the ball I gave my team a second chance at winning. Then I lost my team the game when I took a bad shot. Oh well...

* I tried to buy a $5.00 foot long a few days ago but it was declined. Today a letter confirmed I lost my abilities to purchase hot meals. It happened before. I'm not longer homeless so...I'm going to miss my 5 dollar foot longs, Pizza Hut and El Pollo Loco purchases with my EBT.

Week 176: Preparing for the Unexpected

Weekly Written Review

Whatever my agent says, goes! No questions asked. About a week ago my agent requested 10 head shots and this week she requested 50. I certainly got it to her in time. It literally took all my money to pull that off but oh well. She's got plans for these casting directors. Its a hustle on all ends. No doubt she's doing her part and I also have to do my part and prepare for the unexpected.

Sunday, January 26, 2014

* Fox Digital/Youtube contest brunch with 5 Seconds crew and other competitors. This video is the video pilot I worked on last Friday.

* Meeting with Raj and first visit to India Sweets and Spices.

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

*  Music Video notice.

* Improv class with Michael J. Sielaff. It was my first time attending and I enjoyed it.

* Katy Perry music video shoot aka Dark Horse. I ended up getting a really good look for a scene. After my two takes many of the other extras told me I did a good job. Shortly afterward, I noticed my scene was looping in an exclusive area with multiple flat screens. The area was somewhat closed out for producers and other VIP's. I played dump and said, "That guy is a great actor." One guy turned around and said "yeah he did a really good job." In less than a second he turned back around and says, "Wait, that's you." I laughed and another person said, "Yeah and he's humble too." Shortly after that another person in production showed me some love.

Katy Perry's set was on lock down. The only way to sneak a photo was to request to borrow
your own phone and take a sneak pic in the restroom.
Best part about the shoot was that we were able to take home the shoes. I wore the red ones during the video.
On the way out greed got a hold of me and I also left with the blue ones.  One time for the red and  black Diadora's.
Friday, January 31, 2014

* 50 head shots dropped off at my agents request.

50 times magazine inspired head shots at my agents request.
Saturday, February 1, 2014

* Played some basketball. It felt like I was bleeding inside.

* Working on graphic stuff...

* Watched a Dallas Travers pilot 365 video requested for me to watch by my agent. Great inspiring stuff. Light bulb.

Final Thoughts

As you can see in Friday's photo, I'm not afraid to try something different. Using information recommended and inspired by my agent, I tried a new head shot layout. On Saturday, I also started developing a new flier with strategic preparations.

Week 175: How Do you Manage Your Time?

Weekly Written Review

Another week lining me up and pointing me towards a very acting focus journey.

Sunday, January 19, 2014

* Attended Gloria Gifford's Conservatory annual open-class. Thanks for the invite Francis L. It was another acting conformation. I want it and its my sheer focus unlike ever before. With that additional confirmation I decided not to shoot the under developed Late-Night music video idea I had in mind.

* Journey to print head shots for my agent didn't go was planned but it worked out better. I found a location closer to my agents office (The Actor's Photos Lab) and dropped her off 10 head shots as she requested.

* Booked a music video for Friday

* Got an invitation to be part of Youtube Fox Digital Sports pilot for tomorrow.

Friday, January 24, 2014

* Worked an Arctic Monkey's music video but for the first time I left set before the wrap time. I was suppose to get paid $150.00 cast but they choose to pay me $100.00 because of my early departure. Hye, I had an emergency, kind of sort of. Truthfully, I had to be at another set. Thank God for Lyft. Funny thing is, I was going to use Uber but randomly I got a email an hour or two before. Its stated they haven't heard from me in a while and bestowed me with a $25.00 discount. They trip cost $53.00 and I only paid $28.00. Everything worked out great.

* I left the music video to participate in a Youtube/Fox Digital project with the 5 Second Films Crew.

Final Thoughts

This week 2 or 3 people asked me how do I manage me time. They're asking me this question knowing they have problems managing their own. How do I answer that?...When your focused, passionate, determined and obsessed. I think it comes with the territory.
