Weekly Written Review
For most of this year, I've been working at least twice a week which is extraordinary. Most of it is background work but I'm getting in front of the camera. In most cases, they hire me for background but that doesn't matter to me. I know how to work my way in front of the camera. Nonetheless, I consider this my Background Farewell Tour. I'm enjoying every moment of it, until my turn to be the leading man. Aside from that, I attended a few screenings this week and I got a different kind of recognition that I'm not accustomed to yet. A few people I've never met before recognized me from the post-production of Frenchies a short film that's been screening. Then there was a guy whom I met a few weeks ago and when I saw him for a second time this week he remembered me from a Samsung (Text Neck) internet video. His friend produced that video. My face is getting around :-)

* Haircut...
* Music video shoot...Walking to the bus stop after the shoot someone from the music video offered me a ride but my energy didn't want to be in the car. I wasn't cool another person's shy performance energy who was in the car. I took the long downhill walk to the bus stop. It was around 10 or 11p and the night was young. I could've called an Uber or took the ride but I was enjoying the way. I got home after 3am the night before. Moreover, a little before my stop I noticed a lady enter the bus with 2 or 3 backpacks and a bunch of books in hand. I hesitated about offering her one of my bags. Just before I walked off the bus, I cleared a cool NBC Short Cuts bag and offered her. I said, "You want a bag?" She said, "If you're not using it." Gave her the bag and she said, "Thank dude." From the outside of the bus looking through the window, I noticed her using it immediately. That alone was worth the walk.
As the quest continues...
