Since the holidays I've diligently been watching video's about the Switch non-stop on Youtube. Just about everyday. I've been truly enjoying watching. As a kid I would research the videogames I want and eventually save up enough to buy it. The research process is equally as fun. Moreover, my pockets have been okay lately. For the first time in a very long time I'm not worried about overdraft fees in account. I know the Switch is sold out everywhere but my desire to have it has been increasing. Then last Saturday came. On my way to temporary five day gig I was reading the news on the 360 News app and there it was. An article informing the public that Best Buy's will have Nintendo Switch's in stock on Sunday. During my lunch break I ran over to Best Buy to confirm and it was true. No details was available other than they will have it on Sunday. No preorders. Just show up. I wanted to show up really early but I had to work. I was able to request a early lunch (Best Buy was only three blocks away the gig location), ran over and made it happen. I got there around 10:30am and there was less than 10 people ahead of me. Best Buy was set to open at 11:00am but for some reason they let us in a few mins after I arrived. As I approached the line, I learned that some people got their around 9:00am and received a ticket. I got concerned but a dude told me not many people showed up at nine. My turn came and I purchased the Switch. Nintendo brings out the kid in me. I'm one of the view in the world to own a Switch and I love it. It was a great investment. As much as I enjoyed playing Clash a Clash and Clash Royal I'm over it now. It's time for real gaming. This my first video game console since I arrived in LA. Let the games begin.
