Week 425: Prepped Best Shoot

Weekly Written Review

Also, consider reading my a singular post that was inspired during this week. 20 Billionaire Hacks & Habits I've Already Been Living

This week started off dragging. The focus of this week was mainly about prepping for new headshots.  My agent made the request and I got to do what I can to make them happy. Prepping for a photo shoot isn't fun. It can be quite daunting. The process is actually more detailed then what the average person might think. I've learned how to better prepare over the years. It's not all about buying clothes and showing up with them. The best way to approach a photo shoot is with a series of test photos. I went through about 5 drafts and dozens of prototypes. After the photographer is acquired you got to research the type of photos you want the go to the store and get them. Clothes shopping is not my specialty.  I'll spare the painstaking details and admit process got better over time. This preselection process was the best I've ever had. I had a couple people providing their valuable opinions, plus my agent and photographer gave some feedback. The actual shoot was also well executed. I had someone assisting me throughout the day she was my behind the scenes photographer.

The photo shoot was painless and fun. The photographer showed me a sneak peek at a few photos and I was impressed. I have no current headshots that look like them. They will be a game changer for my career. I will without a doubt have an increase in auditions in 2019. The photographer also complimented my photoshoot prep process several times. The shoot was completed on schedule within the hour range and I left with an abundance of hope for the future. This is the first time I've planned a photo shoot at the end of the year. It's 100 times better than taking photos at the beginning of the year. I'm more prepared for the new year then I've ever been with my best photoshoot ever. Thank you Bella Saville Photography.
