Week 786: New State of Pickle

Weekly Written Review

This week, I changed my mindset about how I play pickleball. I was allowing myself to be annoyed by target play. That means my opponents were targeting my teammates a lot. That mentally took me out of my game, and I was complaining to my partner and to myself. Well, her response last Friday, which I didn't like, led me to reevaluate my mindset. Perhaps I was the problem. In reality, I was making bad decisions at the end of the games but less so during. Nonetheless, I'm not complaining anymore. I'm revamping my game and my mindset. Even if my teammate is being targeted, I no longer allow it to affect my body language, and I remain focused on improving various aspects of performance.

Week 785: Management Acquired Again

Weekly Written Review

After a quick self photo shoot last week, which was supposed to be done by my tennis buddy Hugo,  I decided to reestablish my casting profile. I'm not expecting much. If I book 2 to 3 gigs within a year, I'll be content. I'll get my money back with some pocket change. 

On Sunday, I replied to an email from an artist manager seeking talent, sent by my casting profile. On Tuesday, they responded with "Welcome Aboard." So, I have a representation... again. lol. It's nice, but it means nothing. For some reason, acquiring reps has been easy, but booking the big gigs has not. 

I also submitted to a music-related audition. I'm not expecting a response, but I enjoyed developing the material. Some of the assets are showing up on my website, promoting my upcoming album remasters.
