Week 722: Not Safe

Weekly Written Review 

Over the past month, I was training for what I thought was a life-changing opportunity. Well, it will be for somebody, for me it was another addition of disappointment. Thus, disappointment is my life's narrative. It's just my flow and I embrace it. Often, I build from it. After the disappointment, I slept and woke up over it. Then I immediately applied for something else.

Week 721: Basketball Season

Weekly Written Review 

Among the 3 sports I play, I'm hyped for basketball. I'm playing good pickup games and I started an actual league on Friday. It's my second league as an adult. The first time I played in a league was 2015. My team isn't good but I'm doing my part. At the end of the day it's fun and it's a great workout.

Week 720: Let's Read

Weekly Written Review 

I probably don't fiddle with my phone as much as most people but the more I do it, it creates a sense of dumbness. In the back of my mind, I began telling myself to start reading once I get to a certain age group. On Wednesday night, I realized it was stupid to wait and proudly started reading. 

Instead of looking for a particular book, I decided to inaugurate with something familiar. This will be my second read of The Alchemist. I'm enjoying it like the first time. Reading or watching familiar entertainment is refreshing. That's a new embrace.
