Weekly Written Review
Last week, I shared my autobio a person that claims he represents screenwriters and producers, he read half and said it wasn't for him. Then he asked if I had any TV projects. I told him I have a pitch deck and a developed TV show concept that also exists in the late-night universe. After a pause, he responded, "What's your obsession with late-night?" He took a look at my TV concept and followed up with a request meeting. The meeting was probably only to pique his interests. Nothing official came out of the meeting but he did admit he finds me interesting. He believes late-night is changing and he has no idea what's it's going to look like years from now. The meeting ended on a positive note and he wants to read my TV shot pilot when I write it. I'm not sure if we're going to reconnect but I'm thankful he got my mind thinking about writing TV shows moving forward.
On Wednesday, I dressed up in a woman's tiger-striped bathrobe for a Pajama Jam and it garnered some attention. Thanks, Atarah. In less than 30mins from my arrival, I was approached by a producer that showed me his potential Netflix project his phone. I recognized the lead actor which furthered our connectin. Before the conversation ended, he took my contact info and promised to cast me in something. He liked my look and my energy.
On Friday, I arrived for a Save By The Bell scene. I interviewed for this last week with another young man. That young man didn't show up today. That causes a shakeup in production. I ended up doing some stand-in work with a pay bump. One of the stand-ins ended up having to do the scene with me. That allowed us to connect and share. He's in the process of launching an online network with some contracts in place. He took a lot of interest in my web series and my overall late-night ambitions. That got me thinking, "Late-Night is changing."
I'm at the right place at the time. Meetings this week and potential meetings next week.
I am the change in Late-Night.

I didn't read the description thoroughly beforehand. That's not the type of character I'm interested in. As of this edit, that was my last audition.

Week 490: Rewrites more Rewrites and a TV Future
Weekly Written Review
We're clearly into 2020 but I'm not quite there yet. My 2020 might not begin until March or much later. I'm still cleaning up old 2019 business. Script rewrites continue and it seems like that's never going to end. The best take of away from this is week was a request for a TV script. I don't actually have one yet. I have a developed idea with a pitch deck but I haven't completed the pilot yet. That request is what I needed to hear. Once I finally finish all my 2019 rewrites, I'm going to give screenplay writing a break. I'm inspired to write for television moving forward.

* After sending my script to someone I connected with on Bumble Biz, he said he read half and it wasn't for him. Then he asked if I had any TV scripts. Creative spark initiated.

Week 489: Personal Destruction
Weekly Written Review
In regards to my personal life, I generally start the new year by myself. This time around things are different. My attractivity levels are at an LA high, so are my destructibility levels. I started off this week, not on the best of terms with... and with... by the end of the week, things got better with one party. To the other, "I'm a dead end." I admit I'm in a destructive state because typically I spend the early part of the year figuring out its tone. It's also a new decade so I'm trying to figure out what the next ten years have to offer. I've done that by myself for a very long time, however, since I've invited the gift of collaboration into my life last year, anything solo adds a challenge. I hope that makes sense.

Week 488: 10-Year Reunion Success
Weekly Written Review
After one year of planning, The Motown Maurice Show 10-year reunion came and gone. In a few words, it was a great success. Someone counted over 80 people and it appeared they all loved the food. The caterer was one hour behind but that didn't set me back too much. I planned ahead for that type of set back. The location's internal HDMI system didn't communicate with my computer moments before starting. That created a scare because that's the one thing I should've tested but I didn't. Thankfully, I had my files backed up on a flash drive and they had a backup laptop. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome. The only thing that bothers me is the two people that had no business being in our team photo. It mear pisses me off that they invaded our memory like that. I ended up blocking their face in the final photo. I'm glad it's over now. There will not be a 20-year reunion. I do anticipate inviting some of those people to a future movie screening. Wink Wink!
In other news, I spent a lot more time with my father during this trip. We watched movies and porn. While watching, we probably had our most endearing conversation in the history of knowing each other. Good times.
